So yesterday I decided to tackle installing the Volant intake on my 2019. Everything was going fine till I had to reuse one of the grommets in the new elbow. Well when I was pushing the sensor into the new grommet the grommet popped out and went down the tube and I believe is sitting right near the turbo.

I need to get that tube loose so I can recover the grommet and install it.

How hard is it to remove the tube from the turbo? I tried a little last night but was running out of time, light and patience.

Next step is to just have it towed to Ford and let them deal with it.

You can access the coupling for the turbo inlet tube from inside your wheel well. If I recall correctly it’s a 7mm bolt. I was able to access mine without lifting the truck or taking the wheels off, but your mileage may vary.
