Hey guys,
Planning on buying a travel trailer and I'm a total newbie when it comes to towing something that big and heavy. I'm wondering if any of you more experienced towers can let me know if what i'm thinking is correct. I looked up in the 2022 Ford towing guide and if I'm reading this document correctly, 8,200 lbs is the max weight of a trailer my Gen3 raptor can tow. I'll be using an "equalizer" hitch (sway control and weight distribution). The trailer I'm looking to buy weighs about 6k lbs dry. Sounds like as long as my truck or the trailer is not loaded down too much this should not be a problem. Anyone able to confirm if I'm on the right track here?
