Was hesitant to do the glare free forscan changes but decided to go ahead this morning after reading the latest post. I am able to make all of the changes but am unable to get the ipma module to load. I get "service procedure had been interrupted" in the log. My build date is 12/22/23. Anyone else run across this? I emailed support but haven't heard back yet, probably because it's Saturday.
Your build date could be a problem! lol. JK. You did the proper thing. Did you send your log as well?

I did a bunch of ForScan changes this afternoon. My "glare free" observations (Gen 3 w/production date of 12/13/22):

(1) As soon as I went through the ForScan changes, I then had "Glare Free" in the lighting settings.
(2) Took it for a test drive just now to test it out (twisty dark country road with some traffic). Glare free worked amazingly and just as advertised. The transitions between the shadow around an oncoming car to full bright were seamless - almost like the light was bending around the car and was there as soon as the car wasn't. Of course, had the green 'A' headlight indication, no blue anymore.
(3) the adaptive lights worked just fine in all light modes - perfectly normal in "low beam" until the glare free highs kicked on at ~20 mph, and then in glare free the whole way up and back on the twisty dark road.

This is just amazing technology and I have no idea why it's not enabled stock from the factory. Makes a huge difference.
Because the US has/had a DOT regulation requiring a distinct high and low beam. The law has been changed but I don't remember the date it was to go into effect.

I tried to set-up global windows today. Changed all the codes, but it didn't work. I then saw the note about changing a line in the APIM to enable the selection in the vehicle settings. So, I changed that APIM line, found it in vehicle settings (both open and close), turned them on and Voila - it worked!

Doesn't bother me that I had to enable it in the vehicle settings, just wondering if others had to do that second step too?

I had the same issue at first. When you connect your truck to forescan and the popup comes up to load your existing profile, create a new one instead. It takes a while to read all the modules again, but once it does you should be able to open the IPMA without an issue. Hopefully this helps, glare free is amazing!

Problem resolved! Turns out, the IPMA module is too "large" for my bluetooth OBD2 adapter to load. I got out my usb one that I used originally with my 2018 and BAM, loaded the module with no problems. Settings completed. Will see next night drive!!:pepper:

Silly question, but any chance forscan changes out mess up OTA Sync updates?
I’ve done a bunch of Forscan changes, just curious if others have experienced any of those messing up Sync updates.

I just received two different OTA updates with Forscan modifications. No issue.
I have never received an OTA update as far as I can tell--I certainly havent gotten the new sync. What gives? I've checked for updates and it says it is up to date (not true lol)
