The screen and SYNC module are separate device on the F150.

Ok. The systems I have seen online all included the screen so figured maybe the software was housed in the screen unit. Thanks for the heads up!

melvimbe is correct, however in the photo of the OP it looks like the sync module (APIM) is still attached to the screen so that should work for your 2014. You will probably need a new USB hub to use carplay as well

im not sure what exactly is required but what’s in the pic is what I have for grabs. Screen and the DVD player too. It is the 8” screen and did support apple play.
