I’m far from an off-road expert, but I’ve done countless donuts at Pismo and other locations and never felt like the truck was going to roll. I understand the increased roll potential with the wheel at full lock, but still...

It seems like the common connection in the videos is wet sand and dumbfuckery. The wet sand is probably providing more lateral traction than dry sand, causing the tire to dig in more and pull the truck over.

They were both making a right turn, maybe going left would have worked out better for them.
