damn I ordered my gen 3 last april but only got in installed a few months ago

Why only Gen 4? A local guy just posted his S550 5.0L Mustang dyno numbers with the a new "Gen 5 Whipple" as he called it. Went from 1000 RWHP with a Gen 4 to 1250 RWHP on 24 lbs of boost.

Maybe the Gen 5 needs a new housing and that's not in the cards for the 6.2L?

A PD blower only needs a couple HP to turn while in bypass mode. They impellers are essentially free wheeling with the bypass valve open and the only loss is in the bearings.

I just placed my order for a Whipple with the new Gen 4 rotor assembly. I guess having to wait around to get other home projects finished first paid off. I was planning to just get the gen 3 instead of waiting.
