I could see a speculative thread like this in 2016-2018, but it'll all pretty well intrenched now. By the gen 5 raptors we'll likely miss the days of the 3.5 when the 4 cylinder hybrids start trickling into everything.
Then the start of the "can I motor swap a 3.5 to replace this 2.3L?" threads. It'll have a bingo card spot and everything.
