I forgot…..you have been in the board meetings so you know. lol. Relax sally. A hybrid is probably the future of raptor.
You don’t need to attend a “board meeting” to understand that an engine designed for a high RPM car application doesn’t work in a 6,000lb truck, “sally”. Why do you think the 5.0 has different horsepower and torque ratings between the F-150 and Mustang? You’re just making yourself look ridiculous with the baseless speculation.

Stepping into this convo late but I've been a Mercedes AMG guy for the passed 14 years I have had a pile of E63s.... last year ( 2023 ) was the last year they offered many of the AMG models with V8s - now they are using hybrid engines. A car that went from a big block naturally aspirated V8 to twin turbo small litre V8 to hybrid. If you look across the car industry almost everybody is being pushed this way. I doubt we see the raptor ever be produced again with just a V8 option, sale numbers don't play as much as a factor here as one may think. Again this is just my opinion, I'm sure there's people out there who have more concrete facts.

Ford knows what they are doing. All this 5.0 nonsense is no different than manufactures offering a manual after the outcry of the car only being offered with an auto and then only 5% of sales are a manual. After my experiences at 10K feet, I’d never run a NA truck again.
