Just found a Gen 3 today and will be moving my overland set up. Interested if anyone is using pick up truck camper and made any suspension mods.

I was running a Scout Olympic on Gen 2 with an added leaf spring and Timbern bump stops. Worked well but a little stiff.

The gen 3 has a little more payload and I think if needed, air bags maybe a better option.

This was a change from the iKamper Roof Top Tent RTT that I was using.

Nice, and atlas blue too! What do you plan on doing for the gen 3?

I’m building something similar, currently running a RSI smartcap +GFC RTT (not pictured yet) and a master slide bed tray. Some of these items to be installed in the next couple of weeks. Also for suspension going with RPG Perch collars for front (1.25”?) and rear (2.25”) - also full RPG tie rods with boots. Will be adding eibach rear springs when they come to market in the near future for travel in the rear.

I just put 37” K02’s on new Fifteen52 Range HD’s in Magnesium. Will be posting more details on it as things progress.

Installed a coil insert airbag today that should solve my issue. While not my preference, there was nothing available after market for Gen 3. I studied the Dodge Ram coil spring and ordered the Airlift Airbag for Dodge Ram 2019 up. The coils are about the same size... so it is an off label use. Will be testing this week. Install was straight forward at about 2 hours.

Any updates on the use of these airbags?
Also, what's the weight of your scout... That's a lot of sag!

I’m interested in this as well for towing my 3500 lb trailer. So far, my favorite option looks like the timbrens that I’ll remove when not towing - looks like a one bolt solution…

Hmm, just saw your other post comparing on the timbrens. Love to hear some input after you get a few miles on it.

Following this thread closely. Please post pics of your set up. I have a 22 Code Orange Raptor and I tow a 26 foot center console boat and I measured my springs and I was going to order the airbags but noticed they had the black hd version but only thing that kept popping up was for Dodge Rams. I hope this helps me because I hate the sag….
