Hi All,

Owned a Gen 1 2012-drove it 100k miles and got stupid money on a trade in on a 2018 Ledfoot. Love the truck but put myself on the Gen 3 list a while back. Pricing has gotten insane and still love my Gen 2 so now want to invest in my truck with the plan to drive it into the ground. Gen 2 has 42k miles on it with collars to level and methods other wise stock. Mostly a daily driver but also gets driven off-road mostly sand and beach but also in the woods. I also have clearance height issues where I park-have 2-3 inches max over stock ride height.

Truck needs to be a good daily driver and family car as it will still be the vehicle we take on 4-10 hour drives and I will take to work everyday. Cant put a spare in the bed-need that space.

Thinking new front shocks
37 inch bfgs or Falkens-dont need mud tires or the weight but want to size up
Warranty
Deavers
What else and order???

Welcome everyones thoughts-if this was a third car or a toy there would be more options but I aint in that world. Need to make it great but also drive it every day.

Thanks all.

If I was doing (well I guess I have) a daily driver with a bit of budget I would do it in this order.
1. Deavers
2. COBB AP with off the shelf TCM + Goosetuned (need upgraded intercooler)
3. Fox 3.0 for front/back if got the $7k to burn

The above 3 make it a much more pleasant daily driver without effecting any driving characteristics.

I don’t see the value of 37” tires on a daily driver other than looks, because you are going to be doing some hammer/sawzall modifications. I don’t see the value of paying for more warranty either if you are adding tunes, aftermarket shocks, and leaf springs. If you aren’t “beating” it off-road then I don’t think you need upgraded bump stops or UCA, etc.

Relax and enjoy, save your money, when the shocks start going, deavers and 3.0.
Yup that is the plan. My shocks on my Gen 1 went south around 50-60k miles and tires about the same so was going to go to 3.0s, deavers and 37s (BFGS so not real 37s) all at the same time. What deavers do I want? Want the truck level.
