What's kind of weird is do you notice the microphone behind the drivers side exhaust pipe? Why would they be recording the smaller exhaust pipe? Is there a surprise under the hood?

P.S. Guess if I would have listened to the video instead of football they talk about it...

Yea, I think the day of the V8 in passenger cars and light trucks is almost done. My Raptor may be the last ICE powered vehicle I buy. I’ll almost pre-ordered a Mustang MachE (I hate that name) but I’ve decided to hold off a few more years. I see the Raptor being my toy that I enjoy into retirement and my Jeep being replaced with a more practical performance EV.

oh nah Jeep (mopar/Ram?/fiat??) they’ll keep making V8s fo sho, just like they’ll keep using a mid 90s E-class chassis to underpine like 1/2 a dozen of their best selling vehicles- they got nothing else.

Speaking of Benz, they & GM, along w/ Mopar & Toyota will continue to make V8s no question, b/c they’re committed to it & good at it.

They don’t make great V8s- relatively speaking, especially nowadays- they know it, neutral observing gearhead enthusiasts know it, the market knows it, their key shareholder know it, their OEM parts suppliers know it, hell freakin everyone but the blind fanboy ford diehards know it.

TFL said that the TRX is coming this year... I’m definitely keeping a eye on it. 2021 could be the last production year for the rap, will ford be comfortable letting Ram take the crown for most capable off road truck for a few years... or will they give a grand send off with the GT500 motor...

You are right though. Ford just can't keep up with the cam and lifter failures that GM is so fond of giving it's customers. Ford just now have made a new pushrod engine to try to catch up. Sucks that they couldn't catch ALL the way up and add the great DOD system that GM uses, but hey- you know, always behind.

If you completely ignore the fact that Ford just put a more powerful V8 on the market than GM has *ever* produced- then yeah, you are totally right.

The truck isn't but I believe Ford is testing the 5 link rear suspension that will be used on the next GEN. Unless they plan on offering the 5 link on the GEN2 which would be awesome.

I personally think a linked rear is a HUGE upgrade but that's just me.

Everything I read said the 2021 was going to get a body refresh on top of what they know about the new suspension that’s being tested.

Weather they call it a refresh and leave it as a gen 2 or make it a gen 3 with the Avatar engine, new suspension and body refresh who knows.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this and the new TRX.
