I go back and forth on the pano. It is damn nice to have but I won’t use it as much. My problem is if I don’t have it I am gonna feel like I need to have it. I buy it, it won’t get used. Still undecided.

You don’t have to operate/open it (either flip up and roll back) to “use it”.

Ditto, thinking the something. Ever vehicle I've owned with sunroof only gets used once or twice a year. But if I don't get it I might regret it. What the cost?

I have never been a fan of the way ford offers packages. It always seems that I need to upgrade packages just to get one little thing I want. Oh well, I guess it strategically done by the marketing department. I really enjoy my scab raptor and I hope they bring the scab back.
BTW, I just left the VIR run and the trx looked good. All 3 of them ran quick times with inexperienced drivers. None of the jumps on the track were that big but they landed smooth.

Gotta get the 360 camera and the fog lamps to get the Torsen. Interesting that the Torsen is no longer part of the luxury package, now 801a, was 802a.

Not if you lube it properly every three months or so. Otherwise you can break the plastic track pretty easily. If it isn't under warranty, it's expensive to fix. If it is under warranty, you have to suffer a dealership service department visit or three. If your local one is good, you're OK. Many are not good. It adds weight up high if you're into performance and it reduces headroom if you're tall. Lowers the payload. Minor issues if you like them and live in an area where they can be used more than a few times per year. I don't and I don't, so the cost, maintenance, and weight penalty isn't worth it to me. Lots of people get them, use them a few times, forget they're there, remember in a year or two and try to open them. Snap crackle pop and it's off to the service department. Unless you really like them and have to have one, I wouldn't. Resale might be easier without one. People either love them or hate them and most dealer orders include it, so finding a Raptor without is harder as more are sold off the lot than are ordered.

The roof opening panels that had the bracket issue were addressed with a TSB, which included upgraded parts. No doubt Gen 3 will use the same or similar parts from the TSB to eliminate that failure point going forward. Regardless, lubricating the seals with Krytox grease is always a good maintenance item.

The "37" package I could probably get used to the blue seats and trim, but I do not want to pay for graphics or CF. The graphics will be removed and the CF is of no value to me. That's probably about $3k-$4k in the *******. I am betting the "37" package will push the price up very near $80k.

Evidently Ford been caught with their pants down! They haven’t released any solid HP/TQ stats on the gen 3 just a lot of BS . If they don’t raise the HP to at least 475 they are big losers! In the meantime TRX making history. The mythical R probably won’t be seen until the middle of 2022 and Ford dealerships are going to stick it to you with their price tags .

Does stuff like this actually work? Seems like you need to up your game to something a little less obvious and a little more sophisticated. We're a cultured and educated crowd here, after all. :)
