Gen 3 engine cover on a Gen 2?

Howdy,
Has anyone tried installing the Gen 3 engine cover on a gen 2? I have an 18 Roush and the engine cover is all black and is pretty boring. The 19-20 Gen 2 is nicer, but the Gen 3 looks best in my opinion.

Mounting points and engine fill location are offset
