Gen 3 Apple Carplay

I just picked up my Gen 3 last week. Wireless CarPlay was working fine until today.


This is really annoying because I LOVE having wireless CarPlay and it worked flawlessly EVERY SINGLE TIME in my 22 Sierra.

For reference I am on an iPhone 14 Pro with iOS version 16.3.1

Just go to setting on iPhone, general, car play and delete raptor. Then reconnect to truck via usb, and say enable car play when it prompts on phone.

I’ve tried this multiple times on multiple occasions. Still fails to connect via wireless CarPlay.

To ensure in ruling out the iPhone as the problem, I tested this with my 22 Sierra and it connects just fine.

I’m gunna try again tomorrow morning after “restarting” my iPhone and deleting all connections in SYNC again.

I inadvertently disabled mine and it reverted to just "Phone" when I started it again. Had to just re-enable it again in settings. Not sure if same thing happened to you or not.

I’ll have to take a look at that. To be honest the truck is literally a week old lol I haven’t even saved a radio station to the settings

I understand...only have had mine for coming up on 2 weeks. I went in and played with a lot of the settings and found a good number of things were defaulted to off.
