This looks great, i plan to order one but curious, is there something on the 2nd gens that prevents the tailgate from being opened while the truck is running? I put it in park, unlock it, and still can't get it to release unless the truck is off. I get a safety factor of it, but seems a bit annoying. Will this bypass that or am i just having a one off issue?

Has anyone ran into issues with it not working?

I know i have power, i can hear the relay actuate, but tailgate doesn't drop. I can see the wire all the wya inserted into Pin #1, so nothing is indicating that I am missing something. Relay has power, grounds are good, any one have any thoughts?
