We really should just have a small monthly fee to be on the Gen 2 forum. That would probably keep most of the Gen 1 trolls out.
especially since most Gen1 owners likely could not afford the monthly fee, or else they would have upgraded already

df4801: That is a pretty f*cking low argument. It’s arrogant, rude and for those it may happen to be true about, pretty unwelcoming. There’s a lot of current g1 owners who just came into the fold, some of whom are landing their first Rap, first truck, can finally afford one and this sentiment is not really something we should aspire to.
2013-2014 Raps are only 4-5 years old, plenty of owners are probably attached enough to the vehicle, modding it to the “just the way I like it” point and don’t want to upgrade. Whether you have 8 cars in the stable all costing six figures plus or you’re struggling to make the nut on your 5 year old Rap, we should want them to contribute here.

I think there’s been some lost in the conversation ‘frustration’. The moderation here is far too lenient and tolerant of absolute ******* shitheads like @
Truckzor, sasquatch77 - then Mcnawsty - then MGD/sasquatch78 who have made a retirement mission to troll -exclusively- in the gen 2 fora and been permitted to do it for at least going back to 2016. Honestly, I’d go as far as to say encouraged to do it. As a result, a lot of us get fed up with the bull$hit and paint with a broad brush.
apologies. A lot of the gen 1 guys are solid, done some great mods, organized some cool off roading, etc.
