I ran into this when hunting for a SCAB. I absolutely wanted the leather seats, larger screen and the 360 cameras. Ended up just getting a fully loaded 802a with everything but the graphics, carbon fiber or colored seats from a member here. Couldn’t be happier and know it’ll be more attractive if I ever want to sell it. I’m not intending to though.

If I had to do it again, I would not have traded off my 2011. Raptors are the KING of trucks.

OP, I was back and forth between the 800 and 801. The way the make you choose packages on these things absolutely sucks.

If I were you, I’d go looking for a 801.
For the small price increase, it’s worth it.

The moon roof is a terrible option for a heavy off road truck IMO. The cab and chassis flexes on these things no matter how much they say they don’t. If you end up rolling one, there’s less metal to keep the cab from collapsing on you, they all eventually leak, squeak, rattle, or break. It’s more an image thing to impress the development dwellers than an actual useful feature.

Extended warranty... Worse... Insurance. I hope.

Window tint place says they won't warranty the moonroof though. Says it generates too much heat and might shatter glass. Any experience here folks?

I put 5% film on my sunroof (couldn’t find a loaded Raptor without a moonroof) and it’s perfectly fine. To be fair, I never even open the sun shade to be able to tell but I wanted it tinted as dark as possible anyway.
