Just thought I would throw up some pics of my '17 Avalanche Grey with its final makeover. First of all just to be transparent I'm a poser so I'm not a 'offroad' guy but I am a truck guy and I do love driving the Ferrari of trucks. Yeah I know the TRX is out there now but com'on dude, its a Dodge.
I'm not crazy about the look of 20's on Raptors and 17's were too small so I went with a set of Fuel Zephyr 18x9 -12 offset simulated beadlock rims. And by the way, not only am I a poser but I'm also a name brand wh@re so I absolutely must have the best and latest of everything from Oakley glasses to Apple products and firearms and so on which is why I'm proud of myself for resisting my inner wh@re and going with the 35x12.50 18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT instead of Nitto Ridge Grapplers like on my last 3 trucks. It rains a lot annually here in East Tennessee and the Grapplers weren't cutting it for me on wet roads, plus the Coopers have a 60k mile warranty and they have the aggressive side wall like the Grapplers.
FYI there are Eibach 2.5" Pro Lift Springs on the front so no rubbing at full turns with the wider stance
I had a really hard time finding decent pics online of Raptors with -12 offset rims to compare with the stock +34 offset rims before I bought these so here is a pic for those of you wondering about the new stance
Like a lot of Raptor owners I ditched the gaudy OEM graphics and ran naked until I found a set of small Raptor decals on eBay and small American flags on Etsy to go for a different look.
I also found a set of Ford Performance decals for the hood on eBay giving it even more of a unique look.
Finally inside are a set of CoverKing Ballistic Tactical seat covers that come with several MOLLE pouches which I didn't really care for so I incorporated my own. And yes that is a Sig in the holster on the back of the passenger seat and yes that is legal here in still free Tennessee.
Thanks for looking and remember...
