I guess I'm glad this exists but I'm wondering what the point is? The fuel door locks...

What??? No it doesn’t. None of the GEN 2 Raptors have a locking fuel door.

I use the locking fuel plug for peace of mind when I’m traveling away from home to keep someone from tampering with my Raptor’s fuel system.

Yeah I'm a *******, don't mind me I thought that it did lock. It does not as you say. Now I'm not sure how to feel about having my fuel hole so exposed...

I would have paid for that locking fuel door option for sure. Just a dream now.

Wouldn't have helped me, the guy trying to steal my gas just cut the fuel filler hose above the gas tank. Cost me $600 to repair. The stock setup is enough to deter opportunists, anyone who really wants it will figure out a way.

Not really worried about someone putting sugar in the tank....besides the odds of that actually happening, that's what insurance is for.

If you catch one be sure to drill a hole in their head. But first break their legs while they are laying under your truck.

I stand corrected. Here is the part number showing on the back of the Locking Fuel Plug I’m currently using on my 2020 Raptor:

BU5A-9C268-AA
