Doing 35’s on my order! Spending the extra dough saved on real 37’s, bump stops and fox live valve external reservoir ( spoke to fox said they will be available in January) 35 truck is the same as 37 except for stiffer spring 1” front shocks, rear spare tire carrier placement and blue interior! Confirmed this info with Texas motorworx who seen a 35 truck vs a 37View attachment 314549
Not quite the same. 37 have special rear frame to accommodate spare and tire

I’m doing bed mount spares. Also just for the record tmx said a partially deflated BFG 37 (36.5”)will fit a 35 truck with a 1/2” spacer on wheel mount to frame. Both use same panhard rod

Thanks for all the responses. Truly love this raptor forum.

I have talked to several dealers and one told me they would place an order for me at MSRP but there’s no guarantee that the order will be filled. I didn’t put any deposit down but he did take my drivers license. Anyone else had a similar situation? I’m reading conflicting reports that it’s too late to place anymore custom orders but it’s hard to know what to believe.

I think it’s premature to want to replace the suspension with aftermarket parts when you have not driven a Gen 3 yet to know how it drives. Unless you off-road your truck hard, aftermarket shocks will likely not be needed with the 5-link set up. Not to mention, you will have just as much money tied up into your 35” Gen 3 as to what a 37” Gen 3 costs.

If he doesn’t have an allocation for MY2021, the order he has offered to place—if it results in anything—will be a MY2022 that is delivered next year.

I believe MY2022 order books open mid Sept & production starts early Nov...if you search on FRF you can find the exact dates.

While I was considering trading my Gen2 early I searched cars.com & auto trader.com around my area to see what the Raptor market was doing and it was nuts!

I pre-traded my 2018 Gen2 in June which had an original MSRP of $70,300 with 27k miles for $67k. My state only charges tax on the trade difference so I would have to private sale for like $71,600 to cover the private sales tax implications. Also in mid June KBB was showing a trade value of $71 - $72k.

I also had access to another set of wheels during the order wait time.

The more dealers that I talk to, the more I realize nobody knows what they are talking about. One dealer is going to order me one but can't promise it's filled. Two other dealers have said they're no longer accepting 2021 orders. Another dealer wants 15k over MSRP and I laughed at him. Then he asked if I could do 10. No thanks. Others are saying they have some coming in but won't show me window sticker for them (probably going to add ADM). Another dealer said they could order me one but it will be 4-6 months (I assume they mean 2022 but it's not even open yet). Which one of these are right?

Is there anyone in or around NC that knows a dealer willing to do MSRP and that has an allocation left? This is wild.

Note: I've had a Gen 1 and Gen 2 but waited a few years after release. Maybe now I know why lol. But I'll admit this is kinda fun even though frustrating at times.

Yeah it's unfortunately normal for dealers to not be that informed, they are used to selling what's on the lot. I have 2 on order. A 35" model that i ordered in early June that the dealer says will be a 2022 model but swears i'll have it in September, no VIN yet...and a 37 ordered last week that they say will be a 2021 and be built soon but again, no VIN yet.

quick edit - Vin for the 35" came through today, says 2021
