37lbs without the true bed lock ring. I have 4 brand new factory wheels for sale if you want them?

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns
I have the new beadlocks on order for the 19, but I appreciate it. It appears the new beadlocks are lighter just based on how they look. So I’m wondering if the new ones are in fact lighter then the past years. Would be nice to get a few pounds of weight savings with that price going up [emoji23]

I have no concerns at all about being ticketed driving on them every day, but to me the risk is if I get in an accident because a tire blows out or something, the investigation is going to lead to the beadlock

Funny thing is that if you did have a "blowout" the BL would most likely reduce the carnage...:)

Agree completely, but right or wrong it would be easy for the investigators to point to the non-DOT approved beadlock conversion.

BTW the factory forged wheel aren't that heavy....I wouldn't worry about weight...
Well since there are 24 pound forged wheels out there that 13 pounds makes quite a bit of difference with rotating mass

I have the factory beadlocks and love them. They are relatively heavy though as mentioned above. However, they can be had at a lower cost than aftermarket forged beadlocks. If you do go with the wheels you also have to consider buying the additional beadlock rings which are pricey. On the plus side...You can change out tires easy by only breaking off one side of the bead compared a nonbeadlock wheel

The odds of a beadlock failure/tire blow out, on public roads, causes and accident with another vehicle where someone is injured, decides to sue, and the investigator understands that the beadlocks are not DOT approved are well...Pick 6 lottery odds territory.

I am going to upgrade when I replace my tires.

You underestimate the motivation of personal injury lawyers who collect 30% of every seven-figure payout they squeeze out of the system. Just make sure your homeowner's liability policy is up-to-date and big enough to shield your net worth.
