So, found this last night. From the bottom driver side, most rear plug.

Anyone see this before?
Heard a sparking sound when I figured something was up.
When I heard it the truck was running/idling fine.

Yes I had two lower ones just like that. Didn't even notice anything, no codes, misfires etc. Even MPG seemed normal. Once I did my complete tune up, I did have minor gains on MPG and felt quicker take offs...FWIW

Removed the old plug and put a new one in. Going to swap the other 15 plugs soon. Only 53k on the truck fwiw.

The other end of the plugwire is probably still on top of the spark plug , MSD now makes a set of wires. I used Taylor wires and seem to work good. Did you run through some deep puddles fast ? i could see that possibly make the wire pull off.

Don't believe so. Was out offroading Saturday and the dirt was packed from rain but not muddy nor any mud holes.

Did plugs and wires on my '13 a few weeks back. 94k and they were originals. Boot was fused to a few of the bottom plugs and broke in the same manner pulling it off. The green near the break almost looks like corrosion to me.

Hoping that this was just a bad batch of plugs, seen some similar stories on the forum. Crazy that you didn't have any codes though.

Makes me wish I used NGK's but I had already bought Motorcraft replacements. Be sure to use some grease on the boots when you replace the rest.IMG_20191228_201526.jpg IMG_20191228_201531.jpg
