Merry Christmas to you as well!

Welcome and congrats. Gen 1’s are the best.
Thanks!

Gen 1’s Matter...

oh, what did you pay for it?
Agreed. As for the price, I paid $24K. Not the best deal, but not bad considering how insane the market is currently.

I'm at 98k in my 2010 Raptor. After buying it with 85k miles I've had to get a transmission leak fixed and now the blend door is stuck on the drivers side and heated drivers seat isn't working. Its still a good truck.

After 5 days and almost 2000 miles, we made it home. The truck was the perfect road trip vehicle, we cruised at 75mph on the highway whenever we could and took a few detours on and off road along the way. We averaged 13.8MPG for the entire trip, which included a couple 2+ hour off-road sessions that were not MPG friendly! I have done production work for Fox Racing Shox and filmed some of their raptors along with their sponsored pre-runners out in the desert near Las Vegas so I knew some roads/trails to test my truck on. The truck handled everything I thew at it with ease, my wife was blown away by how fast we could comfortably make our way across the desert. Overall it was an awesome trip and I'd highly recommend a raptor as a road trip vehicle to anyone. Here's a few photos of our adventure...

The view on the flight out to Midland Tx, almost made the 2AM alarm wakeup for a 5AM flight worth it...

Shortly after buying the truck we headed to a couple stores to pick up a cooler and supplies for the road trip. The sun was just setting, so I couldn't help but snap a photo as we walked back to the truck.

We made our way NW stopping in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I put the drone up to capture a bit of the sunset...

Continuing west to the Grand Canyon...

Then towards Las Vegas with a quick stop at Lake Mead.

Had some fun off-roading outside of Las Vegas.

Finally a long 8+ hour drive day from Las Vegas back home to Santa Cruz, CA.
