always "that guy" counting other peoples money

whats nice is having the freedom to get an education and make a decent living to afford nice things. You should try it rather than worrying about other peoples income

It’s a compliment. You’re making it seem like he’s being negative. Good for the OP. Being jealous doesn’t always have to be a negative thing. Shit, I’m also jealous.:biggrin:

I was about to post asking for sites that offer forum discount codes. I think I’ll pass on that idea so people don’t give me a hard time about being poor. I have a deposit for a 2019 but wonder if I should start buying mods now.

Most of the supporting vendors offer forum discount codes to the members. Send them a PM and they will reply with their current savings.

Getting a good deal on something is ALWAYS preferred over paying full price, which allows you to hang onto more of your hard-earned money. I refused to pay MSRP for my 2018, so I hunted around for several weeks before the dealers in Houston finally began to consider my *crazy* offers of $1500 off. In the end, I had 4 dealers who all had similar featured trucks for the same discount and I picked the one that was closest to the items I would have ordered for myself. It will be a little harder to do when ordering at 2019, but I know some of them had deals when ordering a 2018.

Truck looks really good. That's one of my favorite colors. I don't mind the rake at all. As soon as you load some gear in the bed you'll need it anyway.

Also, the Deavers will definitely settle some (~ .5") within a few thousand miles.

If it doesn't settle to where you want it then you can always add a longer shackle. You should probably be adding shackles, anyway. They help eliminate flexing/binding in the rear.

I am going to keep the factory fenders and bedsides for now. I may add them later if I have problems with the 37s.

I pay cash for all of my vehicles, so adding a few mods is not a big deal for me. Some of us on this forum live well within our means. Sorry if that bothers you.

I will leave the amount to your imagination...

my bad! didnt mean to ruffle any feathers!

Miller Offroad Design made a custom bumper for me. I did not like the bumpers from the other vendors, so he built one similar to others he has done in the past. I asked him to cut the frame horns and do a simple single-bar design with a hoop on top to protect the 40" BD Arc light bar. The bumper is getting powdered-coated before being fitted to the truck.

Thanks! Sometimes the smallest things, like removing part of a graphic, can really change the look for the better...

Very cool, anywhere to check out his work?

Thanks! My last 3 Ford pickups have been black, so I was really stepping out with the Magnetic color this time. I wanted something a little different that I could still do the black wheels.

For my weekend cars and bikes, I still prefer Black!
