I listed the part number in the 2nd post.

802A is JL3Z-10849-DBB

just an update...got the programmed cluster back.. Gotta say...AWESOME job (mileage, engine hours, etc) SPOT on! If you are doing a swap send it to livnitup, turnaround was super quick and makes it plug and play/no changes needed.

The physical change on the Raptor took all of 10 minutes. Way way more menus than the stock 801A menu. Still figuring everything out, seems to be some sort of first tab customization tab screen for common options vs tabbing thru all the different screens.

Like it. Like it mucho.

Thanks. One other question. I guess you would send him a picture of your dash to prove miles and hours (?). Then you send him the cluster and he does his thing and sends it back but you might drive the truck between those events meaning the truck would have slightly more miles than what the dash says... I wonder (worry) that the ecu would store the miles somehow and with the gauge not matching you’d have a TMU truck....
any concerns with that?

he emails the instructions..

to make it easiest I stopped driving it for until I got back the cluster. He is able to get the new cluster within .5 tenths of a mile (the miles are rounded when he is programming them)...so if you have a .1 it will come with a .5...can't get much closer than that unless you parked it at exactly .5 or .0. The engine hours, idle hours, etc were exact. The oil % and everything else is stored in the engine computer. You don't need to remove the steering wheel, it is a tight fit in and out but it is super easy...BY FAR one of the best upgrades I have done so far...and I have done quite a few.

Thanks. I’m not sure I’d be able to stop driving it. Did you try returning your old cluster for the core refund? I’m definitely doing this after I install the Tesla style radio. I agree with your statement about looking at it everyday... compared to spending $1000 on a light bar or 3rd brake light replacement this seems like a good value. GREAT value if I can get the core $$ back and its <$600 plus programming.

you have to turn in a like for like to get a core refund...i am either going to hold onto the original cluster or sell it...don't know yet. For now holding onto it. If it starts gathering dust I will sell it, honestly no reason to keep it (I won't downgrade and have no plans on selling the raptor) but I don't think the stock F150 platform can use these from what I read, could be wrong.

Nice work doberer, glad that worked out for you. Be sure and post pics of your other mods, would like to see them as well. I'm still waiting for mine to be built, but beginning to amass first mods on my workbench.

The more I think about it the scarier buying a used truck becomes. Someone could easily drive it for a year and reinstall the orig cluster. Ugh.
