So, I have a 2019 Raptor SCREW I just picked up in January. A couple of weeks ago the truck was sitting in the hot sun all day and when i went to go home the gauge cluster looked distorted and old school dot matrix looking, later that night i went out and it was back to normal. Yesterday the same thing happened, except this time it didn't recover. In fact it was completely dead the tach and speedo as well as a couple of indicators were just blinking, but no digital display what so ever. I also had no analog indications functioning either. I took it immediately to the dealership, got a call this afternoon that the gauge cluster failed with no other information.

I plan on talking to the dealership more about what was actually wrong in person, but has anyone seen this issue? This is the first ive heard of it and makes me a bit concerned about the electrical system.

Faulty cluster. Not common, but it happens. Sounds like there may have been a compromised soldier joint on a circuit board, that would have occurred during manufacturing.

The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) is a stand-alone unit. No need to be concerned about the electrical system.

appreciate the reply. I kind of figured it was standalone considering EVERYTHING seemed to be functioning normally. But i haven't had a chance to look at schematics so i didn't know for sure. the only concerning thing to me was that the center LED display wasn't separate as well. But i guess its just one large unit.

Gauge cluster failed on my previous G1. Be glad you're under warranty, they're not cheap.

Correct. It gets shipped as one assembly from the supplier.

My cluster on my 2019 at 1000 miles. It was replaced under warranty and it is all one unit. Interestingly the odometer info is saved within the cluster so you can roll back your odometer when you get a new one. :)

My 2019 gage cluster also failed, took 3 trips to dealerships to get it fixed. Had pics and videos of gages flashing on and off! But they had to see it for them selfs so they could pull codes off of computer. Was a pain. Works great now

My Raptor is at the Ford dealership as we speak getting the instrument cluster replaced under warranty. I had the same issue that you described except it also happened while I was driving. The cluster died and then kept blinking on and off. Ford said it wasn't sending any codes however I recorded the incident while it happened to prove it to them.
