Or they just take the capless cap off and siphon the old way. It’s going to be a problem when you have 36 gallons of premium fuel available to siphon our, especially as fuel gets to be more expensive.

If someone is willing to take the time and trouble to remove the capless cap, they're more likely going to simply punch a hole in the tank. Too much hassle. I think you guys are way too jittery or looking for something to complain about online.

Yes. Criminals are opportunists. If they can’t get at yours easily, they’re moving on to the next vehicle.

Its my understanding that you can't easily siphon outta this tank. Wouldn't worry about something this trivial.

I'm more worried about someone putting something in my tank to mess with me than siphoning. Had a locking cap on my 2014 FX-4 that worked great, but capless design was changed and wouldn't fit my Raptor. Never found one that did.

I've never seen a truck with a locking fuel door before. Not an oversight ... just typical truck.

No, this is an oversight on ANY 65k vehicle in 2020. And super easy for them to do. No reason
not to have it. no matter how hard it is to siphon or vandalize

So you have a fuel door ‘locked’ the way they all are by a small pin and I come by with a screwdriver or small pry bar, jam it in the fuel door gap and instantly pop the door open then struggle for 15 minutes to pull 10 gallons of gas out of your truck. Now you’ve lost $30 in fuel and have a $1000 repair to replace the door and paint the side of the truck. No thanks. I can’t remember the last time I saw a police report on a gas theft.
