I have owned a G1 (2014) for 7 years now and absolutely love it. The weakness is the relatively small screen and early Sync. But the seats are great and beautiful
(Ruby Red SE) and the V8 is dependable and pleasant to the ears, lol. Fantastic looking truck but the G2 and G3 have meaner, better looking front ends imo. Mine has under 20k miles and still has the new smell.

For those of you that have experience with the different generations, how would you compare them? Do some of you still prefer the 2014 models?

I too have had a Gen 1 for the last 7 years. However, I have 172k on mine. I have rebuilt the shocks twice and it feels like it did the day I picked it up. I am waiting on my AMB Gen 3 37 but will be keeping the Gen 1. I originally thought I would part with it but it has just been too good a truck for me to let go. I feel like they are completely different animals and I haven't even seen the Gen 3 in person yet. With less that 20k that thing should be in a museum. :) 20210827_171550 (2).jpg

Having driven both there is no comparison. The Gen 2 is a huge upgrade in every way, the Gen 3 adds additional technology and coil springs rear suspension on top of Gen 2.

I’d suggest driving a Gen 3 and base your decision off of that.

Gen 1s are garbage. It’s a good thing you only have 20k miles in it. Things really turn south once you reach 25k. I’ll go ahead and take one for the team. I’ll give you 30k for it and even pay to have to transported. ;)
