Funny noise and smell.

ill check the vents but the sound seemed like it was comming from directly infront of me, and i think it changed with the engine RPM's, or coulda been speed, since touching the gas seems to send the speed up pretty quick lol. and..... come to think of it, no i had the climate off and radio off, it was that quiet, radio at fairly low setting might have drowned it out.


ok, the smell thing makes sense, thats why i was asking. i couldnt smell it with the hood closed and standing next to it, but hood open and leaning in while "looking" (dunno wtf i was looking for, since i dont really know shit), is when i smelled it, and thought hmmm is this like a "breaking in" smell or bad smell....


now that i look like a 16 yr old girl knows more about cars then me... thanks... but hey i can and have changed a tire and my oil in other cars before i swear!


and debate.... hmmm interesting... but you said adding bacon... then id have to make bacon..........


and not seeing it now, but i thought it said the 411hp and 434lbt were based off 93... trying to find something on ford i just saw "based on premium fuel". ill admit i didnt look that hard either, texting a dude whos interested in buying my old truck..... thats mod money!

went out and looked at the intake and everything seems tight. a friend of mine who just moved back to the neighborhood happened by, so i took him for a spin and i couldnt hear the noise anymore.... so i dunno.... was probably just me and lack of sleep i guess....

Randomly enough, I was thinking tonight on my way home when I passed a McDonald's -- I haven't ate fast food like that in a good 6 months.

bacon microwaves like popcorn. paper towel on a plate, bacon, paper towel over bacon ... 3 or 4 minutes.

microwaving 2 things... that work.... even tho i love bacon... microwaving bacon is still work...



and my sunglasses go in the holder above my head.... the sound i heard came from infront of me...... like 3 feet infront of me is how it sounded.... and climate control was off! i think now it might have been my imagination....

I forgot to add "but it's not the sunglasses" causing the rattle/buzz noise, sorry.

What you described is the noise my since traded 2009 F150 began making a year ago. The vacuum line controlling the 4x4 was cracked. Have you tried the 4HI yet?
