FUEL tires. has anybody used them and what do you think.

I am looking at 35 12.5 17r tires. Three choices are Toyos, Nitto Trail Grappler which I foumd for $290 a tire soits in the lead. I like the look of the fuels too

The fuels look like a direct copy of the Toyos to me. Nitto is made by Toyo as well, so I can see why you like those 3 haha

Fuel MT and Toyo MT are nearly identical. However, I do not know the if there is a difference in the rubber compounds between the two.

The Mud Grapplers are definitely softer. However, my Trail Grapplers on my old truck wore just as well, if not better than, my Toyo MTs.

there's a few tires out there with very very similar tread patterns, the difference will be the rubber compound and possibly sidewall.

cant say i recall anyone on here running the fuel tires for any amount of time to compare them to the toyos though.

If you spend more than 50% of your time on the street, Mud Grapplers are the worst tires you can buy.

There's some pretty brutal tires out there.

The mud graps are very aggressive, but I am pretty sure we only got about 15k out of them. Worst wearing tire we have ever had
