Interesting. The regular F150 won the drag.

The high output did not offset the tires or weight.

Thoughts?

Again, it's drag racing. Who cares.

I do.

It’s going to get thousands of views so apparently I’m not alone.

If we used your logic... we might as well buy a Chevy ZR2. It’s nimble. It’s off-road worthy. It’s even Peppy. It’ll go virtually anywhere my raptor will go and then some.... because it’ll fit in narrow trails.

Go ahead and say that the Raptor can handle high speed desert runs.... because everyone who owns a raptor is doing that every day...

So yeah.... a lot of us bought it because it’s capable AND fast.

I was expecting an equal pull due to the heavier weight of the Raptor. I would like to know if they both were using the same fuel octane. It is widely stated that the Raptor will only meet 450/510 if it was on premium fuel, otherwise knock sensors will reduce timing and power.

...and they're both faster than the glorious-sounding V8.

Do you go out and drag race your 6000 lb truck? If not, what benefit does "faster than a V8" get you? If so, how often do you get to actually enjoy beating V8 Raptors in drag races?

That "glorious V8 sound" is there to enjoy 100% of the time, everyday, all day, all night. Every startup, every stoplight, every tunnel. It's such a sweet sounding song- and it's one that Jennay can never sing.
