This just appeared in my ford pass. Is this related to the cam phaser reflash FSA?

Yep I have been told it just means that Ford is extending the warranty in regards to cam phasers to 75k I believe.

It says pcm reflash due to engine shudder so it’s a pcm reflash to correct engine shudder. I just wasn’t sure if it was related to the cam phaser reflash.

This campaign is for vehicles that had 21B10 S2 performed and had an engine shudder afterward. That population essentially consists of vehicles that were poorly maintained or ran low on oil.

Sorry my Ford pass just updated and now I have the 21N08 and 21N03. The 21N03 was the one I was thinking of.

I am confused about this. Are you saying the vehicles primarily affected by the engine shudder were poorly maintain or ran low on oil?

You literally just typed back exactly what I said. Strange first post. How about introducing yourself in the new members section and posting a pic of your truck?

I apologize if the format was incorrect but I did want to ask a question. Are you stating that poorly maintained vehicles are affected by this issue? My problem is that I had this issue and coincidentally dropped my truck off at a dealer, to get this issue fixed, yesterday morning right before the new FSA was issued. In addition, I am obsessed with my vehicle and spend a lot of time, money and energy maintaining it. Luckily, the new FSA fixed my issue. However, I am concerned that this community could be making assumptions about other people’s vehicles without any information.

I have a 2018, just got the same notice. The first software update was performed on my 2018 three weeks ago and did not solve the issue. Im meticulous about my oil changes, every 4000-5000 miles using Amsoil 100% synthetic. What is my next option? I appreciate the help…
