My new to me 2012 turn signals have been flashing fast since I bought it 2 weeks ago. I didnt notice the front signals nor parking lamps were coming on. I dont get the fast flash when the hazards are on, but the front lamps still don't come on. Fairly certain it's not the lamps, cause 4 seperate filaments would have to be out. There are 10k miles on it now, so it's under warranty. Any ideas?

Stock lights. The only fuse I saw for the front lamps onlyvwas #30, Front Parking Lamps... and it's good. As soon as Autozone opens I'm going to replace both front lamps.

You know what I'd do? I'd pull one lamp out of the plug and test the parking light and turn signal circuits with a multi-meter to see if you've got current.

Got to work and looked under the hood, apparently the previous owner did some sort of tapping into those lights. There are wires hanging out of the back of each harness. I'm heading home now and I'll pull the headlights and attempt to repair whatever the hell he did.

Anyone know of any mods that involve splicing into the front signals and parking lamps?

Yup. He might have had some stick-on LED DRLs spliced into that circuit.

That said, if he wasn't a complete screw-up it should not have affected the function of those lights.

That's exactly what he did. I took the headlights out and the signal and parking wires were cut on both sides. Took me about 30 minutes to solder and heat shrink it... Not quite as good as new, but the best I can do aside from replacing the whole harness. Thanks everyone for the input and assistance.

Okay, now you know that the former owner of your truck was a *****. I'd check it over from stem to stern and look for whatever else he might have screwed up.
