Well this makes me feel better that mine aren't messed up or out of the ordinary. I just hadn't seen it posted up so now i know thanks.

Huh. I don't blame ya for wondering. I would have too if mine looked like that.

Here's mine just after I went from bottom to top perch at 40k miles. I live in the Bay Area California though.

What is weird is I don't have the rust like Trey does on everything else. I was expecting some normal wear and tear but not that. Here is a pic before the front end work was started.

That's pretty much exactly how my shocks looked too.

Alan, I did perch adjust at about 15K miles and it was about half that corroded so I'm right there with you.

We might be doing Ryan's probably after the raptor run and hes got 30k on his truck so i would assume it will look like crap too. FYI next truck will get it done the first week.

i scrubbed and scrubbed on it with no luck.

Its just that OKIE FUNK! HAhaa. It does look nasty but I do not think its anything to worry about. Get ya some silver paint and fix it right up. A little dirt and it won't even show.

I say you may be right with the disimular metal corrosion. It probably got some salt in it and started the reaction you have there. I saw a pair for sale, $700 new on here somewhere.
