I installed the SVT back lite mod to the center pin of the front amber running light (1 inverter per side). After 1 week, all the front running lights (LEDs, amber bulbs and SVT back lites) have stoped working. Checked fuses - all ok. Anyone know what's going on please?? I saw something about a beige wire to the running lights on F150's getting over loaded and burning up. Not sure if this is real and if it applies to our Raptors. Wouldn't the fuse blow if that was the case?
Thanks for any help, guys.

i would check and double check ALL fuses and relays, then grab your multi meter and find where the voltage drops

In trying to learn what the "SVT back light mod" was I found this...

This guy had the same problem I think.

Sounds like he got the dealership to fix his screw up and then rewired it to an AUX switch.

Have you disconnected it and returned to stock to see what happens? If not do that and see what happens, maybe something in the system is shorting, need to check your ground, cut wires, but start there remove all and start fresh. See if it works with out it 1st.

I don't know what the EL tape inverter is...but I think the guy said something about that and that he wired it direct to AUX1 switch ??
