Front parking sensor issue

Has anyone had any of their parking sensors go a little awry?

Got a hand car wash today and afterwards the front right parking sensor is constantly going on and off. Figured I’d wipe it down and give it some time but it’s still acting up. Finally had to turn off the front sensors in the settings but clearly something’s off. Not sure if they are that sensitive that they can’t take a car wash (highly unlikely). Any suggestions or how to reset?

My rear passanger has done that 1 or 2 times. There was a small amount of water in the plug. Used the air compressor to blow out the plug and it was fine. The other time it happen I left it for a few hours and it fixed itself.

Yea I’ll let it sit overnight and see if it resolves itself

Yep. Mine has been doing this a lot lately. Both front passenger and rear passenger side. The rear passenger side goes off more than the front. I have noticed this more after I have washed my truck. Also noticed it in the snow.

My Expedition did this crap all the time. Haven't had this issue yet with my Raptor.

Yea it’s pretty snowy and slushy out but after a few days back to normal. Turning off the sensors might have done the trick.

I had bumpers ADD Bomber Bumpers added front and rear, now the sensors aren't working. Both the front & rear parking sensors, and used the relocation bracket for the distance sensor for the cruise control. Everything is in place and looks like it should be working from walking around the truck. Any ideas?

Aside from putting your original bumpers back on & selling the aftermarket ones…Nope! Try reaching out to the company you bought them from.

You might just need to get an update from the dealer to fix it. I only have the stock bumper, but I was having some of the issues that people above were having. My sensors were worse after car washes and in the snow and cold. Had my truck at the dealer and they said they had to do an update to my sensors. I just got it back yesterday so I will keep an eye on it over the next several days.
