I'm a huge HID fan.

"HIDs really shine in long-distance lighting. If traveling at high speeds off-road is your thing, then HIDs might be the best option for you. Dollar for dollar, an HID will reach out further into the darkness than a comparable LED light in most cases."

I got four used Hella 4000 Rallye Euro beams (pencil beam for distance + some flood). I think you'd need Baja designs bar that cost 5x the $ I spent

Any of you would do well got get these two for sale

I've run HID's in the past and they are great for what they are, but I like the form factor and adjustability of the LED lights when compared, not to mention the lifespan.

I've got LED ditch and I'm doing mounts for a 52" LED bar in the morning.

I've seen a few racers who like the coverage and light color effect of both. I can literally see why.

I rebuilt used hellas with better bulbs and morimoto 55w ballasts Life span of HID is actually longer if don't count replacing a bulb.

Got it all finished up tonight! Decided to flip the bumper lights underneath the bumper instead of on top, looks much cleaner. Also changed out the lenses on the driving/combo lights. Got the SDHQ A-pillar brackets, Squadron Sport spots with amber rock covers, and S1 amber wide cornering lights installed. Setup is this:

1. Front bumper Squadron Sport amber wide cornerning + A-pillar S1 amber wide cornering + third brake light S2 driving/combo on Aux 3 as fog/dust/snow lights

2. Front bumper Squadron Sport amber driving/combo + A-pillar Squadron Sport amber spot on Aux 2 is driving lights

3. Rigid 40" white light bar behind front grill on Aux 1 for "whatever" use

Haven't gotten a chance to get all the lights properly aimed and dialed in, but just from "playing around" things are a significant improvement from before! Looking forward to really getting to use the lights. They definitely look the part!
