Picked up a 2012 Raptor with 105k miles in November. It is mostly stock besides Method's, 37's (at the time), mid perch that where rebuilt at 50k. Didn't notice the noise when I bought it but it quickly developed the clunk after purchase. Since then I've replaced the 37's with 35's along with the following:
Rebuilt shocks with new bushings
UCA with bushings and ball joint
Steering rack and pump
Tie rod ends
Sway bar end links
Nothing made the clunk any better and actually maybe made the clunk worse. Sounds like shit going over any small bumps, cracks, potholes, manhole covers etc. This is not an IWE noise either as nothing changes in 4h. Sounds like something in the front end is loose and it's driving me crazy. Does anyone have an suggestions on what else it could be? If i replace the LCA and ball joint the front will be all new components. Is this just how these trucks feel/sound? I know its a 2012 with 109k miles but I really feel like something isn't right.
Any help and suggestions are appreciated!
