While driving to get our French Bulldog puppy Dobby in Toronto 2 weeks ago, I got message on dash front collision avoidance sensor blocked or dirty. That caused the ACC to not function. Kind of annoying. I looked around grill but couldn’t figure out what to clean. I wiped front camera clean as spray wasn’t doing it. On way home (1,000 miles round trip) the warning went away after popping up incessantly and cruise worked. But front camera stayed very cloudy and continues to be that way.

Have there been reports of bad cameras here? I don’t recall.

Anyway, made appointment for oil change and camera.

In the reply box, just hit “Upload a File,” then select the pic from your phone, then hit “full image” and “post reply.” Easy.

The ACC - stock - is behind the left front bumper plastic insert. They will do that when when there is a snow build up, or other debris blocking the sensor. I’ve had it briefly bark at me and then go away, cleaned some snow / slush accumulation, and problem solved.

as to the camera - try some glass cleaner and a --clean-- microfiber rag, not a paper towel with motor oil on it ;-)

man, why don’t you come clean (pun intended:lol: )

tell the truth. You pm’d me and convinced poor simpleton me to clean it with coarse sandpaper.

Oh ty I knew where sensor is. Saw it when removing small grill to install the BD light there. But how the heck would one get back there to clean it on the road. More sandpaper?
