Welcome fellow Canadian...Im not one for warranties but I did opt for the extended. When I got mine ford had a deal 3200 for 2 extra years or 160000kms. If I don't use the extra warranty they give me $2000 back.

If you aren't going with headers or a tune or anything like that I'd get the extended warranty, especially if you are asking more than 3 years for financing. You'll get a chunk of it back on resale if you sell early so long term is a good investment.

Welcome! My extended warranty is good to 100,000 miles unless I break some suspension-related haha. Peace of mind
