Thanks everyone! I am leaving Saturday night from Galax, Va to meet with Dustyn and pick up my Raptor Sunday morning around 10am. Scott Johnston asked about a group getting together Sunday to "welcome me to the Raptor family". While I am EXTREMELY tight on time for the weekend, I am thinking that I can hang out for a few hours. So I am thinking that if everyone wants to meet between 10-11am Sunday morning and hang out until between 1-2 then I can have Dustyn (the "Previous Owner") meet us as well and take care of everything in one stop/location? You guys in the area let me know what you think, etc.

I am pressed for time because I have to be in court Monday morning. My 16 year old is getting his permanent driver's license and in Va they have to go to court to get it. But he is coming with me to pick up the Raptor. I am driving my Silverado to pick her up because I have to drive two hours north east of me to Roanoke Airport to get a one way rental from Enterprise, which would add an unnecessary four hour round trip to my already tight plans, not to mention gas, etc. (To make a trip North West of me...lol) So driving my other truck is the only feasible option. So Cullen is going to drive the Silvy home behind the Raptor. He's gonna be HATIN' it...lol

Have a safe trip...yeah I remember going to court when I turned 16 to get my license and have the judge strike the fear of God in me..I hope it works better for your son than it did for me...

Can't wait for pics...

He's a GREAT young man. There are about 15 or so of his friends that are getting their's the same day. But this kid has never been sent to the principles office or anything like that. I am actually honored to call him my son, I WISH I was as well rounded when I was 16. BUT, I like the fact that the Judge will have a chance to, well, have his say so to speak. It will only lend weight to my "rules" of the road...lol

This is how I mounted mine for the SnoBall 500 Pre-run:

It worked great, except for holding the jack in place. I'd keep in mind that this event is going to have more rough & high speed terrain than the SnoBall did so If I were going to secure it with ratchet straps I'd go overkill.

Mark

lots of straps and check often!

You and me both. We have a 11 JKU and my wife wants my truck GLRE #001. Last Saturday she said so when am I getting this truck?

Anyone know of a 13 Terrain, with no options at invoice?

first, she drives it like she stole it, then she really does steal it, lol...

How come she's holding out from joining FRF? She's already in the " Flying Raptors" club! :D

RPG and WSI present The South Dakota Buffalo Run - FORD RAPTOR FORUM - Ford SVT Raptor Forums - Ford Raptor

Yep that's pretty much what is happening.

She mentions joining but in all reality I don't think she cares all that much. Shes not really a "forum" type of person.
