Wvraptor - I have the ORP Bed Rack and couldn't be happier! I've had the rack for over a year and it looks like new (been thru hell and back). I had to build my own jack plate and quick release jack mount. There are several great bed racks available from different vendors, but I can only speak to this one. When the tires are removed from the ORP rack, you can use any bed cover.

It is critical to check your bed for loose items during any off roading. Shit comes loose all the time and can do lots of damage. After many events, including TRR, CORE, and VORE; I have never had to tighten anything in my bed rack. Those straps are badass!! Now other things have come loose, broken, been thrown out of my bed, and even exploded!

That looks very nice, and clean which I am very much for, where did you purchase the rack?

For the guys looking for a horizontal rack due to some form of bed cover, there are options out there. I have a Retrax and wanted to be able to close it. Simple design and still plenty of room for jack and tool bags on the sides. I built mine, but would be happy to provide assistance or details if you need. Basic box frame design with tiregate mount and then I Line-Xed it.

I built the frame in the bed to insure a spot on fit with the bed bolts, then added the supports and gas can holders out of the truck. 1 1/2" square steel tubing all around and I bezeled the bottoms where it meets the bed so it would sit flush within the grooves of the bed.

No, It cleared up after Donk dropped back. Charlie had an even bigger detour.
