This is part of what's wrong with today. My brother and sister have an awful sense of entitlement because no matter what they do they are rewarded. They play sports and everyone wins even if they didn't actually win. That doesn't teach you anything if things are handed to you. I remember getting angry when I didn't win at something. My father always told me I tried my best but to practice more and I would get better. So I practiced and I won. To actually achieve victory after busting your ass is gratifying. Winning when you didn't actually win sets you up for failure and gives you a false sense of hope.
