I used a medium grade clay bar to get a ton of paint specs off my truck when I first got it. Some ****** dropped paint in the road & my tires threw it all over my truck sides & even the tailgate. It took a while because it was 3/4 of the truck, but I got all of it off. The claybar, depending on how aggressive it is, takes a layer of your clearcoat off; so you don't want to do it often...but for instances like this, or every few years to upkeep the stock paint appearance.

I generally clay bar once a year. Take a plastic bag and run it over the paint. You can feel it if it needs it. Front end gets "spot barred" every couple of months since it takes the most abuse.

I have used Meguiars clay bar so far. But from what I have seen Adams gives you a ton of clay in their kit. You won't need much for your entire truck but it doesn't really go bad as long as you keep it clean. Adam's is also a vendor and has been getting great reviews.

Glad you were able to get it off. Not sure everyone else is seeing this sentence.

Oh well screw me. Glad you got it off bud.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a ****.

It's really too bad he didn't walk up on it happening.

No offense taken here.

Oh god he is probably lucky he didn't. Don't think vandalism is a valid cause for murder. If someone was spraying my truck I don't think I could control myself. Not that it wouldn't be deserved but the courts seem to protect the guilty now a days.

Your patience and calm attitude is admirable, my friend. So is your commitment to this great country. I commend you, and would gladly buy you a beer (or a case) if you were within perfect-beer-can-spiral-throw distance.

Hoping your insurance covers this nonsense.

What is this world coming to? I am sorry this ungrateful piece of work decided to mess with your truck. I too commend you for your attitude about this. Thanks again for your service.

Sorry to see this. I wonder if you could get a motion detection video camera mounted inside the truck to record the bastards if they do it again.
