I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I have not been able to find an answer to it.
I have a 2010 scab raptor with frame damage I've been looking for a replacement frame but have not been able to find one thats affordable so I'm wondering will a base model F-150 frame be the same and if they are different what are the differences?

I would think you could make more by parting it out rather than putting it back together and selling it.

I'm not trying to put it together and sell it I'm trying to keep it and I'm not interested in parting it out either I had a 2012 that burned up in a fire unfortunately for me insurance and GAP did not pay it off so I'm still making payments on it and I looked for a while before I found another one I could afford. Its a molten orange 2010 so I would like to put the truck back together and use it as my daily driver

Did you misprint that? You said you have a 2010 screw raptor, they only made Scabs that year. Anyway, the frames were the same in the early years as f150's, so if the length is the same it will fit if its also the same year.

If you're really talking about a 2010 supercab...

The only non-Raptor frame that is the same length is the 2009 extended cab 5'8" bed. These are more rare than Raptors I think. I don't think they made that configuration in a non-Raptor even in 2010.

Any 10-14 frame of that length will be a Raptor. 13-14 are most desirable as they have an internal doubler over the rear bumpstop.

So your saying an 09 to 14 will work?

I'm not certain the 09 frame is identical to the 10 Raptor frame. I'm pretty certain the 09 was the only year Ford made a non-Raptor Supercab + 5'8" bed configuration. From 2010-14, I believe any truck with that configuration was a Raptor.

I know the 13-14 and 17-20 Raptor frames are different than the regular F-150. I'm not certain on 10-12.

The vast majority of SuperCab frames from 09 are going to be standard 6'6" bed (with some long 8' bed).

Believe 10-14 will work. 10-12 don't have reinforced rear, 13-14 do. This may or may not be only difference between Gen1 Raptor and non-Raptor frame.

Bear in mind this data is coming from someone who's read a lot about Raptor development on the internet as an enthusiast.....not as someone who's done frame swap. So if Ford randomly moved some mount point or redesigned a bit, I'm not going to have a clue.

Sorry I can't offer better data, just saying what I know.

No, the Raptor has a heavy double wall construction (all models and years),
a standard F-150 would not be safe to use and most likely not work without modifications.

A Complete frame has been discontinued but frame assembly sections can still be had.

Just scroll down towards the bottom of the page.

FYI, the reinforcement for the rear of the frame can be bought and welded on so it will have the same strength as the 2013-2014

Have you talked to a frame shop about this? Its very likely that it will be more economical for you to take it in and have it straightened/patched than doing an entire frame swap yourself. Unless the frame is really pretzeled. Got pics?
