Closing in on 100K
Shocks seem fine..
How long should these be lasting?
Does anybody rebuild them?

Mine were at 92K mi when I replaced them. They were also fine, no leaks. Decided to just buy new from Rockauto vs. rebuild for not that much more. Fox recommends rebuilding or replacing at 50K mi. If I were to rebuild, would have went with Forged Offroad.

Should be serviced every 50k. I got a rebuilt set from Forged Off Road at 120k miles

I had Forged Offroad rebuild mine at 94k. I think it was around $900 for a rebuilt set including their stage 1 offroad dampening and flutter stacks (plus shipping). A new set of shocks are definitely worth it, but I would probably go through someone else next time (maybe Texas Shock Works). The process start to finish took about 3 months with Forged, and I just found that to be a bit ridiculous (shocks ride great though).

Mine lasted 25k, and are really in need again now that the truck has 50k. A lot of off-road places swap (I know SVC does) with a different pair that was rebuilt to make things go quicker.

Stay away from forged off road, took me weeks to get the shocks I ordered and months to get my core charge back. Also the shocks they sent me were rusted on the shock body and were not charged with nitrogen. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company

I used Shocks by Hammer and had schrader valves installed on each shock so I can add nitrogen when needed. It cost $755 with shipping and $100 extra for the four valves. The owner, Brian, had me forward him pictures of my shocks so he could closely match the condition of the replacements. He gave me a few tips on the install and torque specs. They looked great upon arrival and return shipping label for my take offs was supplied. I couldn’t have been happier with the performance. Truck rides like new again!
