I think I noticed the SVC kit says it's a 4 link and the Foutz/KHC says it's a 5 link system. What is the pros/cons of 4 vs 5?
A 5 link setup generally keeps your gas tank stock. No moving it, changing to a fuel cell, etc., which means a LOT when getting it smogged and resale value. 4 links are Next Level, and they can be either a simple setup (underneath the bed, no frame mods), or full kill back half conversions cycling 30" travel. Honestly, 5 link conversions that leave the gas tank untouched are the future. And not specifically for Raptors, but for thousands of F150's. Once you compare the weight and cost of a Deaver set up, plus shackles, straps, bump stop systems, traction bars, bed mounted shocks, etc., versus a modern 5 link, which offers a better ride, adjustable dampening, less axle plunge, zero axle wrap, and equivalent travel; maybe it's time to step up from ancient technology.

Something to be said for leafs though. Especially for the guys who are faster on leafs than some guys on links, etc. watching leafs cycle is like watching whoop scissors in action. The dirty travel is cool.

All that said, I drove a rental ram 1500 with coil rears/what I assume is a 5 link.
It felt so much more planted, felt basically zero axle wrap, was nice.

Also don’t forget the other “4” link. 3 link with panhard like what kibbe is doing.

My last truck. It never had axle wrap issues. Spring-under Deavers, the 35" tires, and 150-ish hp at the wheel eliminated the problem.

That's our old truck at full bump and full droop. I think it had 30" of Dirty Travel too.

You can barely make out the King reservoir (from the right rear bypass shock) as it broke off and went skyward. That was another expensive day.
