I’ve read that people are changing settings within FORscan and getting good results from the B&O. What settings are being changed besides enabling the aux subwoofer setting?

thanks,

That’s all you need to do. I made this change in forescan and it was a night and day difference.

I have the factory sub amp (B&O) but aftermarket sub and box, should I do something with forscan for it?

I would think so to prevent the bass roll off at higher volumes. I think the setting mentioned with the aux subwoofer enabling gets rid of the bass roll off from past posts I’ve seen.

Yes if you change your sub/amp setting to aftermarket with ForScan, the sub volume will increase with the rest of the system and not roll off. It made a nice difference in mine and at least your can push the sub for all it has at higher levels. It won’t be a 10 or 12” with a 500 watt amp pushing it, but it helps for sure.

Ok, so I have all aftermarket speakers and a sub box running off the factory amp.

I changed the setting for the kicker sub noted above, it does help with the roll off.

It seems to negatively affect sound quality tho.

Sound seems kind of dead, also seems to cut the highs out of the door speakers where i have 3 way 6x9s.

Any thought on other settings to try to let everything run wide open?
