My 2018 does not have auto relock (unlocked car relocks after 45 seconds without opening door)as the manual states we should have. On the Forscan plain English all 5 places said disabled. On the advanced Forscan it also showed disabled. I enabled both places and still no auto relock. Any ideas? Livinitup are you out there? I will also post this in the tweak your truck section.
Thanks

It seems to be hit and miss on the 2018s whether it works or not when enabled; it works on some but not others and we haven't figured out why yet.

Got an odd post Forscan issue.

I did a couple of mods, and all took just fine.

Did:
Global Windows
DRL Light switch to parking/turn
Temp/Trans numbers above gauges
Heated Seats/Cooled Seats/HSW on Sync screen
Lincoln Mirrors
Auto Start Stop Disabled

All took fine and worked as such, but I noticed my tailgate LED light that shines on the ground started to flicker after changing the DRL's, so I restored back to stock for that tweak, and it no longer flashed. Also noticed that my center screen stays backlit after the truck powers down and doesn't shut off. I restored all settings back to stock, and it is still staying backlit. What's strange is if I shut the truck off after a run cycle, it powers down fine. If I open a door after that, it does the raptor intro screen, then continues to stay backlit after the 8" gauge screen powers off. It stayed on for over an hour before I decided to restart it, then close the door, then let it shut off like it should. Opening the door seems to be the issue.

If anyone has any idea what is going on, that would be fantastic. I also noticed that the ECU would flash over my standard settings on its own. As an example I would Flash the APIM 7D0-0101 line with AA2A 0103 0485 and it would write : AA2A 0103 04B5, instead. What is going on here?

Thanks for any help

If you've restored all settings to factory default and still notice some qwerks then try resetting BdyCM & APIM modules in FORScan (wrench icon), and clear any DTCs that may be present and see if the issues are resolved. I don't know why you had those issues to begin with unless you accidentally changed a wrong value on some line when you did your mods.

Regarding this: "I would Flash the APIM 7D0-0101 line with AA2A 0103 0485 and it would write : AA2A 0103 04B5, instead."

The last two digits of any address are the checksum (a mathematical sum of all the prior digits in the address) so the reason those two digits are being changed is because FORScan is computing the correct checksum and writing it for you.

I was succesfully able to reset all modules, and found it was the DDM/PCM modules causing the screen not to flip off. I'll start with the Lincoln mirrors and see if it does it again. Will update as I figure it out.

Thanks for the help!!

With a fresh load starting with Lincoln Mirrors, the screen stays on like it did. I did find out that if you lock the doors, it flips off instantly.

Can someone else with a 2018 who has done this verify if their screen stays on after you open the door after the initial close - think "oops, I left something in the truck after I got home from work."

Thanks all.

Instead of locking the doors try just opening and shutting the driver door which should make the accessory timeout expire and may be what you're seeing take place immediately with locking the door. The Lincoln autofold mirror change may be keeping the accessory timeout alive longer until it's locked and the mirror folded.

I think that’s exactly what is happening. I had my slider door tray closed last night, but tonight I noticed the USB surround lights stay lit as long as the screen’s backlight is on. Once I reflashed the DDM/PCM a second time back to stock, it continued to act the same. Is this considered “retained accessory power”? I’ll try to reflash it again tomorrow in hopes to truly bring it back to stock. I’d rather not have the backlight on the screen stay lit for hours at a time, which is why I wondered how it works on a factory fresh unit. Maybe it’s supposed to stay on for a bit?

My screen stays on until after the engine is shutoff unless I open/shut the door but I've had the Lincoln autofold enabled for so long that I don't remember if it was like that before the mod or not.
