i ordered my Gen 1 without one and that was the right call as there were a bunch of issues, leaks etc with those roofs. My Gen 2 came with one as I bought it off the lot. Really nice to be able to stick your hand up to make sure that you have clearance in garages. That said, I did have to get it fixed-only non scheduled service on my Gen 2.

My Gen 3 came with one as well. All of that said, you are likely saving yourself a hassle by not having one and don think you will hurt resale.

About half of prospective buyers like the sunroof and half hate it. But ... dealer orders always include the sunroof, so trucks without it are harder to find since they're always customer orders. It will actually help the resale value to not have it. It won't be worth more, but it will be worth the same and you paid less for it. That's a win unless you'll miss having it.

I had one in my old raptor and used it once, the one I ordered did not have it as well. It will be fine no worries.

Hi All
I forgot to somehow add the sunroof option, do you think it will significantly hurt resale value? Luckily I bought the truck at list.

FYI THE CODE ORANGE IS AMAZING. THE PICTURES MAKE IT LOOK RED BUT ITS A BRIGHT ORANGE IN PERSON.
Run a Ford dealership won’t make a difference. In some instances people want it without one due to the known sun roof issues. At most 1295 less than the exact truck with a roof.

I think that will make your truck more valuable, as a 37 with the blue recaro's and no moonroof could be a quite desirable package for some. I know I would be interested in a build like that

I think rising gas prices and less people working and uncontrolled inflation on common items will hurt your resale way more. Haha

I remember in winter 2008 a 2003 Dodge Viper with 5000 miles mint condition selling for $30,000. This market is temporary so if you can’t absorb your truck tanking to half its msrp I say sell it now.

Count your blessings. Sun roofs don't last. The cheap plastic parts that move it always end up dry roting and crap out and it costs big bucks to replace it. Mine crapped out yrs ago and I haven't fixed it yet cause my money always goes elsewhere lol

Trust me you will be good. I’m looking for a Gen 2 with 802A with out. They are unicorns. My 2018 has been replaced twice already.

Nah I think it’ll HELP resale on a 37” since I would assume a bigger chunk of 37”
Buyers would use the truck offroad & a these panoroofs are not really ideal for true offroad use

I had a pano on my ‘18 & specifically looked for a new 2020 w/o it b/c although I didn’t have any issues you have to be careful bout opening it a certain way after been sitting for a while (vent first then slide back or it’d get stuck & makes a pop) have to clean/lube the weather stripping few times a year anyhow based on mileage/conditions etc

Looks great & helps open up the cabin & make it feel more high end, but….it’s a truck that advertises its jumping ability, think a couple big panels of glass overhead are ideal for that?

The A holes of cars and coffee will ding you a bit for not having one… The man bun crowd will not even look at it when you go to sell.

You’re screwed, call the dealer and cancel…and immediately PM me your sales persons name and number.
